Heya,

I am Nils and I was born on the same day as my brother Mark, only 2 minutes earlier.

I spent most of my time at school with my twin brother, but after college we decided to go on separate ways.

Believe it or not, I wanted to give up English at school, but than I decided to study in England .

4 months after finishing the military service I left for Preston in England to endeavour for a 3-years degree.

Besides my regular business modules I signed up for a Japanese class as well. After the first year, I realised that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
During my first summer holidays I went to Japan for volunteer work. The following year I went for a 2-months internship in Tokyo .
Although I belonged to the business department, I decided to join the Japanese classes in my spare time.

As I did not find a job after my graduation in May 2004, with the help of my university I was able to take part in an exchange programme with a Japanese university and thus a new and exiting part of my life was going to kick off.

Just a month after finishing my university in Nagoya, I had the one-of-a-kind opportunity to start a six months lasting paid internship in a Japanese company.
This internship slowly but surely comes to an end, but I will be employed as a full time staff.
Currently, I am living in a city called Shimizu, which is famous for football and Sushi.
However, I am do not have any interests whatsoever in football and my love to Sushi is limited to rather simple styles.
Nevertheless, I am glad to have found a job that I like.
